Chad Fuhrmann
Chad is an independent maritime professional with over 30 years of experience spanning commercial shipping, offshore energy, regulatory affairs, and humanitarian operations. He is the founder of Chaos Ready Inc., a non-profit dedicated to fostering a better understanding of the industry’s hidden talents by recognizing overlooked humanitarian capabilities.
As a Vice President and maritime subject matter expert with Core Group Consulting, Chad works internationally serving across all facets of the greater marine industry. He maintains his USCG Chief Engineer’s license and continues his professional development in maritime and emergency management. He is also a Chartered Engineer and Fellow with the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science, and Technology, and a DHS appointed member of the National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee.
Outside of industry events, you might literally run into him in the pit at a punk show or volunteering at festivals and venues behind the booth for Punk Rock Saves Lives, a national organization that promotes awareness and action on mental health, harm reduction, and human rights.
